Essential Job Facts

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they which labour in the word and doctrine. 1. Ti. 5:17.

And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. 1. Thess. 5:13.

But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and the ministry of the word. Acts 6:4.

… my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger … Phil. 2:25.

… help those women which laboured with me in the gospel … Phil. 4:3. For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. 1. Ti. 5:18.

That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth. 1. Cor. 16:16.

The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into the harvest. Mt. 9:37,38.

… labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. Col. 4:12.

Spreading the Gospel to others around you is work. If you are saved, you are one of the Lord’s labourers.
